Gul Bakawali

Its in Amarkantak ( origin of River Narmada) it is said to be the birthplace of Gul Bakawali plants. a mobile camera pic. 

The Gulbakawali Ark of Amarkantak is world famous. The traditional healers and natives of this region are well aware of its medicinal uses. This Gulbakawali Ark is used as eye-tonic and is said to prevent Motiabind (Cataract)

White butterfly ginger lily, or simply ginger lily, is a tropical perennial and a cousin of culinary ginger (Zingiber officinale) but it is not edible.

In Chhatisgarh, the Amarkantak hills are covered with dense forests, and it is the treasure house of valuable herbs and medicinal insects. Here the advisees have been growing White Ginger Lily, (Gulbakawali) for generations

Powai Lake (named after Framaji Kavasji Powai Estate) is an artificial lake , situated in the northern suburb of Mumbai, in the Powai valley, where a Powai village with cluster of huts existed. The city suburb called Powai, shares its name with the lake ( thanks google !)

one more pic of river Arpa . Arpa  is a tributary of River Mahanadi .The river originates from Pendra  plateau in Chhattisgarh . This 147 km long river merges with  river Shivnath.
