A Reason to be Happy

The common house sparrows are fast disappearing from our towns and cities due to incresing electromagnetic pollution specially telecom towers . This has become an issue of concern. Sighting an sparrow in balcony of my flat was really exciting and I felt happy to know that sparrows are still around ! we should do somthing for this homely bird !

The Supermoon

The moon as seen on 19.03.11 over Bilaspur ! The full moon occurred when the moon was at its perigee making it appears approx. 14% bigger. wow ! i took this photo few hrs before it was the closest .

Birthday Cake

Why is birthday cake so good?
I love it oh so much!
It’s good to eat - but even more -
I think it’s nice to touch!

It’s squashy pink and sticky white
And stuffed with special goo.
With candy roses on the top -
One time my piece had two!

I like to blow the candles out.
I like to make the wish.
But more than all I like to lick
The frosting off the dish.

Now sundaes are quite wonderful.
Banana splits are fine.
But birthday cake is something else -
Especially if it’s mine!
